If you have registered and you didn't see an email confirmation, check your spam folders first for "runsignup" or "margarita." Then, if you still need to confirm, click on the pull-down menu in the upper right corner and select "my races." Login to your runsignup account, and you'll see the race(s) that you are signed up for.
Race will start promptly at 7:00 PM in the parking lot of Union Savings Bank, across the street from the 109 Danbury Road shopping plaza in Ridgefield, CT.
This year there will be "tiered" pricing. There will be a select number of slots for each pricing Tier. When that Tier is full, the price goes up! (We will warn you when the Tier is getting close to capacity).
All participants (21 & over) will receive ONE FREE MARGARITA from the Southwest Café with the presentation of your race number following the race. Soft drinks available for 20 & younger. Join us in the Cafe after the run for a great dinner with live music.
This is a flat and fast USATF-certified course. Starting in the parking lot of the Union Savings bank, runners will pass behind Union Savings Bank, turning right onto Farmingville Rd., left on Limekiln Rd., left on Lee Rd., and then right onto Famingville Rd., right on Noran's Ridge, around the loop, back out to Farmingville, and left onto the South St. by-pass finish where they started.
Friday, August 2 4pm-7pm at Southwest Cafe, 109 Danbury Road.
Saturday, August 3 10am-4:30pm at Ridgefield Running Company, 423 Main Street.
Saturday, August 3 5pm-7pm at Southwest Cafe
Pets, strollers, in-line skates, and bikes are not permitted on the course. The police will pause traffic but THIS IS NOT A CLOSED COURSE. You will not be eligible for age group awards if you run with headphones, per USATF rules. If you must run with headphones, turn the volume down or run with one ear bud in; you need to be aware of the runners around you at all times, and be able to hear instructions from police and course marshals. We ask that participants with strollers be respectful of other competitors and start in the back, and yield the right of way.
