Race For Peace

Come join our Saint Junipero Serra Parish Family in its 3rd annual 5K Race for Peace.  Race will begin at 9am on October 5th from Saint Francis of Assisi Church grounds 673 Ellington Road, South Windsor. CT.  This is a timed event over a measured 5K race course which includes some rolling hillswith water stops and pre & post race refreshments.

The parish, comprised of St. Margaret Mary and St. Francis of Assisi churches in South Windsor, invites denominations of all faiths as well as students throughout Connecticut to run or walk the course.

Participants may register either in advance or on the day of the 5 K event.  Advanced registration can be completed at www.itsyourrace.com and is $25 for adults and $10 for kids 10 to 18.  Search for “Running for Peace 5K”.   Registration day of event is $30 for adults18 and over.  Donation will be made to the hurricane and flood victims in the Midwest.
