The Pequot Running Club is pleased to present the 48th Annual Pequot Runners Thanksgiving Day 5-Mile Race and 2.6 Mile Walk!

Pequot Runners will continue its tradition of giving to such organizations as Wakeman Boys & Girls Club, Caroline House, Junior Achievement, Pequot Library, Westport EMS and more. Thank you for supporting our event and helping us achieve our goals!

We look forward to seeing everyone on Thanksgiving morning!

Race Info

General

Strollers, Baby Joggers & Dogs: Allowed in 2.6-mile walk, not permitted in the 5-mile race.
Parking: Available at Southport train station, Pequot Library, Post Road retail lots, and Southport Congregational Church.
Packet Pick-Up: Monday-Wednesday before race day, 10:00 AM ‐ 1:00 PM & 6 PM ‐ 7:30 PM at Wakeman Boys & Girls Club, 385 Center Street, Southport. Race morning beginning 7 AM.

Registration Check

Check Registration: Use the "Find A Participant" tool to confirm registration.
Race/Walk Start Time: 8:15 AM.
Pick-Up for Others: Allowed, but those participants must be aware you are doing so.

Seeded Runners

If you’re a fast runner (sub-27 minute men, sub-34 minute women) apply to be part of Pequot’s Seeded Runner Program, which we instituted last year.
You’ll get a special bib, access to a dedicated room to stretch and leave your gear, an escorted “secret” walk to the front of the start line where you’ll find a corral in front of the thousands of other runners in the race, allowing you a clean start as well as an unobstructed pre-race view your competition.

Race Raffle Process & How Do I Donate to the Raffle?

All participants will have an opportunity to win one of our amazing prizes.

No longer do you have to be present to win. We do our best to collect the tag from the bottom of your bib at registration or at the race. This tag will serve as your raffle ticket. Once the race starts the raffle committee will select the winning tags. Announcements of the winners will be made once finishers hit the finish line! Prizes will be available for pick up at the Pequot Tent on the turf field, weather permitting or inside the Warren gym.
