Join us Saturday, Dec 7th, as the Nichols Improvement Association presents the 30th edition of our holiday classic. The timed event takes place on a scenic rolling hill 5K course through the heart of the Nichols community. It features one of the best race finishes in Fairfield County.
Walkers are welcomed to participate in our 1.25 mile untimed Health Walk on the rolling hills of Nichols. Stroll, walk, push the kids...everyone is welcome! PLEASE Come Dressed to Run - There are no Indoor Changing Facilities.

The Nichols Improvement Association is a Not For Profit organization. Proceeds from the race go back into supporting community events & maintaining our property, ball fields, community playground & the Starkweather House.

Food & refreshments prior to and at the conclusion of the race.
YES, you can pick up for other people- we encourage that to save time and stress on Saturday.
Overall Male & Female Champions receive prizes and are removed from their age groups.
Age Group Awards for male & female - three deep (1st, 2nd, 3rd) placements for 9 & under, 10-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+

7:30 AM - Registration at Nichols United Methodist Church (Walk-ins bring cash or check)
9:15 AM - Jingle Bell Jr. starts in front of Nichols Firehouse on Shelton Road ... Children must be checked-in by 9am (go to walk-in registration table inside NUMC)
9:30 AM - Jingle Bell 1.25 mile Health Walk starts (this is an untimed event)
9:30 AM - Jingle Bell 5K Run starts - this is a chip-timed event
10:15 AM - Post Party & Awards Presentation for the 5k event
