Swim information
All swims will start on ramp of Stevens Creek Reservoir. Swim buoys will be set based on the current water situation to create a half mile loop (800 meters). All swimmers will swim in a clockwise direction around the buoys, keeping the buoys to their right shoulders. At the completion of the swim course swimmers will exit onto the ramp and run up the ramp through the marked course and up the Stevens Creek Reservoir parking lot. From there they will be directed up to Stevens Canyon Rad and later to Rim trail.
Surface water temperature at Stevens Creek Reservoir averaged 26°C (78.8°F) in August of 2023. As of July 23rd, 2024, the water temperature was between 26°C - 27°C (78.8°F - 80.6°F). Wetsuits are allowed but not necessary.
