Description
As a run-up to World Refugee Day, show your support for refugees by joining ECDC’s second National Run for Refugees! Participants will be mailed a t-shirt and a bib number. Run or walk a 5K at the location of your choosing between June 1 - June 20th and report back your time to be added to the finisher database!
The event supports the ECDC’s national office and our African Community Centers in Denver, Las Vegas, and D.C. Metro. You can select where you would like your funds to go during the registration process.
Run/walk this summer with ECDC and celebrate refugees!
ECDC works locally, regionally, and nationally to settle refugees. Our programs and services help clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, giving them hope for their futures and helping them become self-sufficient, productive members of their communities.
We welcome participants to fundraise as well. In celebration of your fundraising efforts, if you raise $250 and we will reimburse your registration fee! Raise $500 and we will send you a We Made A Quilted Bowl Cozy. Raise $750 and we will send you a Stich-Ed Together Bon Appetit Chef’s Apron!
