GMCHC March for Education

The 2014 GMCHC March for Education Walk-a-thon is a 5K walk to raise money for scholarships and financial assistance for college bound inner city students in the DC metropolitan area.  The March for Education Walk-a-thon promotes the continued importance of a college education especially today.  Walkers will enjoy the scenery along the Potomac River and will be greeted by supporters at each mile marker.  All walkers must register and be at least 14 years old to participate. Walkers will also have the option to pledge to raise up to an additional $200.00 to support the college scholarship fund.   Minors ages 14-17 may participate but must be accompanied by an adult.
