Margarita 5K Run/Walk

When:  Saturday, August 7, 2021, 9 A.M.  Rain or Shine.  Ignite Kids Run (10 & under) starts at 8:55 A.M.

Where:  La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant & Bar, 1171 Bay Road, Dover, DE.  Registration opens at 8 A.M.

Registration:  $25 until July 31; $30 after and on event day. Registration starts 5 P.M.  Make checks payable to Ignite Fitness and mail to TriSports 2772 Hazlettville Rd, Dover, DE 19904. 5K Course:   The 5K is on a flat and fast out and back course that will please both the speedy and beginner runner/walker. The route is well marked and police supported.                                   

Awards:   5K run awards to overall and master’s male and female winners, top 3 male & female runners in 10-year age groups. 5K walk awards to top 5 male/female finishers. Ribbons to all Ignite Kids Run participants (200–300-foot dash).

Benefactor:  Our mission is to provide ongoing funding to support cutting edge blood cancer research while actively advocating for advanced therapies and patient care. The Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware (LRFDE) was established with these objectives in September of 2007. Our organization is 100% volunteer based and, because we receive no federal funding, hold numerous fundraising events annually.                               

Amenities:  Quality TECH SHIRTS to all participants.  Post-race social festivities to include music, food, and drink.  Event results & photos will be posted at TriSportsEvents.Com and on the TriSports Facebook Page.
