This virtual challenge is based entirely on the honor system, meaning you do NOT need to send us photos or any other records of your tracking devices. That said, you DO need to log your miles using the simple steps below.
Q. WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RACE?
A. A Virtual event is an event you can complete anytime, anywhere! There is not a set time or place to do this event, since virtual events are meant for you to complete at your convenience. Your race at your pace!
Q. CAN I REGISTER AFTER THE START DATE?
A. Yes, you can register anytime before the cutoff date of 11/03/20. The goal is to be active!
Q. DO I NEED A GPS TRACKER (GARMIN, STRAVA, ETC) TO PARTICIPATE?
A. No. Fitness devices will make your tracking easier and more precise, but not necessary since this is based on the honor system.
Q. CAN I WALK?
A. Yes, you can walk, jog, or run this challenge! All abilities are welcome!
Q. CAN I USE A TREADMILL?
A. Yes, miles can be done on a treadmill.
Q. DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
A. We would be happy to ship internationally! Please contact our team at info@sommersports.com for shipping and handling fees to your location.
Q. HOW DO I TRACK MY MILES?
A. Tracking your mileage is super easy! Follow these simple steps:
1.) Visit the results page here.
2.) Click "Submit Virtual Results"
3.) Enter your miles for the day and submit
Q. WHEN WILL I GET MY VIRTUAL PACKET IN THE MAIL?
A. **UPDATE** DUE TO A MAJOR DELAY IN SHIPPING - All packets will be shipped the week of November 9th. Thank you for your patience and understanding! If your address has changed please let us know before this date to prevent additional S&H charges.
Q. WHERE DO I GET MY RACE BIB?
A. Once you register, you will be able to download and print your personalized race bib from this website by going to your profile page for this race.
