Donations will be collected for the Charles E. Orcena scholarship fund held by the Marion Community Foundation (Marion, Ohio). Though legally blind, Charles pursued knowledge all of his life and thrilled to both play games with friends and family as well as to teach anyone who was interested in learning.
The scholarship targets graduating high school students seeking to attend higher education at the local technical college (where Charles taught) with special consideration given to those with specialized Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and/or physical disabilities.
