Will you consider a gift to support my 5K run and help boys and girls in foster care? I&rsquo;m excited to be one of hundreds of runners in the Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services&rsquo; 6th annual Turkey Trot 5K taking place November 18 in Monticello.
Vera Lloyd is home to close to 130 boys and girls in foster care every year.
You can help these children with a gift of $25, $50, $75 or an amount of your choosing to Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services in my honor.
&nbsp;You may wonder,&nbsp;why give? Give to change the life of a child in need.
Your gift creates a safe home for boys and girls who have nowhere to call home. Help children like Katy.&nbsp;Katy&rsquo;s mom used her to get prescription painkillers and feed her addiction. Her parents are divorced and her father has not been part of her life for a long time. Today, her mom is in prison. Katy says Vera Lloyd the best place for her. She faces an uphill battle to success, but it is within her reach.
