Jones Public Interest Law Foundation (JPILF) is a student organization at Faulkner University Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. JPILF is dedicated to providing opportunities for students to engage in volunteer legal work, enter the public service field of law, and explore public interest concerns. In addition to public interest legal work, our organization prides itself on community service projects. While we are actively looking for ways our members can make a change after law school, we believe our impact can begin now - during law school.
Each year, JPILF awards summer stipends to students interning in the public interest field. In order to fund these stipends, we are holding the First Annual JPILF Spring Scramble, which is a virtual miles challenge. Participants will be "scrambling" to log as many miles as possible in their chosen activity (running, walking, hiking, biking, swimming, etc.) during the week of April 1st through 8th.
To do the most good, we need your help! We are soliciting sponsorships to support the Spring Scramble, virtual miles challenge. Your donation will go toward helping us provide students with Summer Stipends that afford students the opportunity to accept unpaid internships in the Public Interest legal field.
Faulkner University is a 501(c)3 educational organization, and donations are tax deductible as provided by law. Donors may deduct the actual cost of donated goods or services. Donors making financial contributions may deduct the full amount of the donation, as no goods or services are provided in exchange for those contributions.
