SFA Glow for God 5K

Due to our current COVID-19 quarantine, the SFA Glow for God 5K will not occur on Friday, April 3rd. At this moment, it has not been decided if it will be postponed to a later date or canceled completely. Please be in prayer for our community, town, state and country! Stay safe and know that SFA is praying for all of you!

Sylacauga First Assembly of God would love for you to join us at Blue Bell park for a glow 5K run/fun walk on Friday, April 3, 2020 to "Glow for God". All proceeds will help with the cost for our missions crew to travel to Porvenir, Honduras July 6 - 13, 2020. Our host missionaries for the trip will be Bill and Mary Strickland. Please pray for our missions crew as we prepare to travel to do God's work in Porvenir, Honduras, along with our host missionaries. 

Porvenir is a few hours from Tegucigalpa. In Porvenir, there is group of believers that are meeting weekly under some trees. They have by God’s faithfulness purchased the land. The church is growing and in great need of a church building. This church has a great Pastor along with a great congregation. It is our desire and goal to provide the people of Porvenir with church building. This is a great opportunity for SFA to follow the commands of Jesus and be a witness in Samaria and to the ends of the earth. With your participation in our 5K, the missions team will be closer to providing this congregation with a church building as they continue to serve and be a witness in their community.
