Your giving directly impacts our three programs translated as healing paths: 
1. Give the Gift of Resiliency through our Intervention pathway which is directly connected to us being able to offer Youth Peer Groups ages 13-18 for free.
2. Give the Gift of Hope through our Prevention pathway which allows us to drive awareness not only about the trauma impact of being exposed but the healing solutions available.
3. Give the Gift of Love through our Empowerment Pathway which allows us to assist those families that have fled to safety and have practical needs we can fill be it transportation, school, clothing, etc.

About DOVES Network

DOVES Network exists to help youth that has been exposed (directly or indirectly) to a form of domestic violence known as Childhood Domestic Violence (CDV) and Sexual Violence.

• Childhood Domestic Violence (CDV) is when a person grows up living in a home with violence occurring between their parents or violence towards a parent. 
• Sexual violence is sexual activity when consent is not obtained or not freely given.

Children located in these situations are not only aware of the violence happening but are likely impacted by the repercussions of domestic and sexual violence, especially in underrepresented communities. Even if a child is not physically harmed, the environment not only impacts them mentally but shapes the person they become and the relationships they encounter. The road to recovery often becomes a lifelong journey. 

1. 15 million children in the United States grow up in homes plagued by domestic violence
2. Over one billion children are impacted by domestic violence globally 
3. There's less than 15% awareness of Childhood Domestic Violence
4. More than 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced sexual violence involving physical contact during their lifetimes. N
5. 1 in 3 female rape victims experienced it for the first time between 11-17 years old and 1 in 8 reported that it occurred before age 10.
6. Nearly 1 in 4 male rape victims experienced it for the first time between 11-17 years old and about 1 in 4 reported that it occurred before age 10
