We are SO THANKFUL for this amazing country and want to share that. The Thanksgiving Turkey Trot races will help us provide food, school, clothing, medical needs, and business opportunities for the remote areas Caren runs in. Watch what was done in Guatemala just this past month, and watch how the Himalayan guides and their families are blessed and the porters that haul loads up Kilimanjaro in Africa. Every excess and extra you donate to the race is used for that. Not just helping, but also providing opportunities to start businesses.
Did you know, we are RUNNING a beauty salon in the village of Sotang, in the Himalayas of Nepal? Or that we put EPA the African guide on Kilimanjaro through accounting certification school? The Rodeo Run will be supporting Miss Pam's Ranch, making it wheelchair accessible and helping feed the 'ranch pets' they adopt to teach self-esteem and purpose in adolescents by adopting unwanted exotic pets. Your donations will do the following great and needed things: build wheelchair ramps, pour a concrete foundation for a wheelchair bunkhouse, buy winter hay for the adopted horses, and feed for the lamas, pigs, goats, sheep, and delightful array of ranch pets collected to teach kids responsibility, care, and confidence while experience real ranch life.
