SeedForce is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for specialized medical treatments and surgeries required by the children of agricultural workers who harvest fruits and vegetables in Florida under H2A visas. These treatments and surgeries will be conducted in Mexico, depending on the location of the agricultural workers' families.
Currently, the agricultural workers originate from municipalities in Chiapas such as El Bosque, Arriaga, Las Rosas, Larrainzar, Bochil, Jitotol, Tenejapa, Cintalapa, Trinitaria, Ocozocoautla, as well as municipalities in Veracruz such as Soteapan, Mecayapan, and San Juan Niumi in Oaxaca.
The municipalities of Chiapas, Veracruz, and Oaxaca such as El Bosque, Larrainzar, Bochil, Jitotol, Tenejapa, La Trinitaria, Soteapan, Mecayapan, and San Juan Niumi are of indigenous origin and have a high level of extreme poverty and marginalization. This motivates our organization to collaborate closely with civil society in the United States to support the sons and daughters of agricultural workers who dedicate nine months of their lives each year to contribute to the
production of fruits and vegetables in Florida. In doing so, they ensure food security, low prices for the American market, and supply in Florida's supermarkets.
