CASA: The Mission of Southwest Georgia Court Appointed Special Advocates (SOWEGA CASA) is to recruit, screen, train and supervise volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children throughout Southwest Georgia. CASA volunteers provide a voice for children in court by making sure their best interests are considered by the courts, social service system, and community service providers; thus, assuring the child’s right to an appropriate placement and permanent home.
PCAA: At Prevent Child Abuse America, we work hard to realize our vision of a world where all children grow up happy, healthy, and prepared to succeed in supportive families and communities.
April is National Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Month, a time when child wellness and child welfare organizations across the U.S. elevate the importance of creating systems and programs that put children and families first. Kappa Delta and PCA America have strengthened and empowered families for decades, helping to stop child abuse and neglect before it happens.
