This is a self funded event. The needs of the participating runners will be funded from the donations from participants. By participating in the Malabo Marathon, you will  not just be running for yourself. You will be  supporting important local causes. A portion of the marathon proceeds will go towards community development projects and initiatives aimed at promoting sports and fitness among the youth of Equatorial Guinea. Your participation will make a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
