Who We Are
Ronald McDonald House® Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois provides care and support for families with a child in medical care. Since opening our doors in 1985, we have welcomed over 40,000 families.

As part of the Ronald McDonald House worldwide network, we are a licensed independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with our own board, budget, and staff.

Our programs include:

Ronald McDonald House: Iowa City, a 31-room house located on the University of Iowa campus, just three blocks from the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital.

Ronald McDonald House Family Room: UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s Hospital. Located inside the Helen G. Nassif Center for Women’s and Children’s Health building in Cedar Rapids

Ronald McDonald House Family Room: University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, located on Level 3, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, in Iowa City
