Welcome to our HART (Highland Area Resource Team). This not-for-profit organization was started by four individuals whose lives have been affected by their own or loved one’s illness.
Throughout each of our experiences everyone noticed one thing from our family, friends, and community…. people wanted to help in some way, big or small. The dilemma we faced was that people didn’t know how they could help and the people who could use the help didn’t want to ask. Our goal is to close the gap and provide a resource for people who want to volunteer their time or talents toward those who are in a situation due to illness or circumstances that need assistance.
So, have a heart, join our HART. Volunteer your talents, hobbies, or knowledge with someone who needs a little extra support.
