Description
The 4th annual Run for Prevention is a 5k walk/run held at the scenic Washington Park with paved and mostly shaded pathways. The Run for Prevention appeals to everyone from the family looking for activities to the competitive runner with chipped timing. Participants will receive a shirt and all finishers will receive a finishers medal.
The Run for Prevention is a charity event to generate funding for Health Missions a 501(c)3 group whose mission is to prove, protect and provide natural health care. As Doctors of chiropractic and clinical nutritionists, the founders of Health Missions are committed to helping spread the word about natural health care options and researching the amazing outcomes they have witnessed for decades. Health Missions has a three-tiered purpose that includes providing natural health care, health education, and research. This three tier approach will enable us to educate the public about the benefits of natural methods of healing, validate the efficacy of different natural healthcare services and provide these services to the underprivileged.
Awards will be given out for: Top Finisher, Top Male, Top Female and Top age groups.
Health Missions encourages team participation, providing team discounts for teams of 5 or more people.

Friday September 28th from 4pm-5pm at AlignLife at 2025 West Iles Ave, Springfield, Il 62704
Check in will start at 8am at the race start site, and the race will start promptly at 9am.
