This year's .05K is set to benefit the Baltimore City Firefighters Local 734 Widows & Orphans Fund. Each year, firefighters in the city put their life on the line to serve and protect the citizens and visitors of Charm City. They represent the 1,300 active and hundreds of retired members of the Baltimore City Fire Department including members who are Firefighters, EMT/Firefighters, Firefighter/Paramedics, Paramedics, Emergency Vehicle Drivers, Pump Operators, Fire Operations Aide, Emergency Boat Operator, Marine Engineer, Marine Pilot, Fire Inspector and Fire Dispatchers.
The Baltimore City Firefighters Local 734 Widows & Orphans Fund was created to provide life, sick, accident and other benefits to the members of the Local, their dependents or their designated beneficiaries.
