Welcome
Thank you for participating in The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. First Annual 5K along Lansing’s beautiful RiverFront Trail . Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was founded in 1911 on the campus of Howard University; a historically black college. We participate in Social Action activities that will uplift our communities and Heath Initiatives by facilitating, participating and coordinating activities that promote good health practices. Our contributions to our community include programming in the following areas: health initiatives, social action, scholarships to high school students desiring secondary education and college endowment funds. Sigma Upsilon Charities is a 501(c)(3) Organization. This year we chose to partner with The Capital Area Anti-trafficking Alliance (CAATA), a 501(c)(3) organization. CAATA’s mission is to identify victims of human trafficking, provide trauma informed services to victims of human trafficking, and provide community education/prevention activities in the greater Lansing area.
Come and enjoy the beautiful trees and scenic views lining the therapeutic waters of our Grand River while supporting a great cause.
