Urban Sprouts Strollerthon

Urban Sprouts is a joyful, encouraging and diverse educational community that honors and empowers every aspect of children’s learning. Our goal is to support each child in her or his development as a socially capable, creative and inspired citizen. We envision a community where the ideas of children matter, a society where education is a right and a world where the image of each child is valued.

Being active and maintaining a healthy life is key at Urban Sprouts. We are Eat Smart School with a Garden to Table Program making this event a central component to health and wellness. Our children develop their gross motor skills through physical activity and we are excited about this inaugural event. 

In addition to our focus on health and wellness gathering is key to our community and we look forward to having our diverse members.

Purpose of the Urban Sprouts Strollerthon:

Urban Sprouts is a nationally accredited early childhood center and a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. Given our mixed income model, over 57% of our students come from low-to-moderate income families. Therefore, we fundraise to ensure all students receive a quality education regardless of their family’s social-economic status. Urban Sprouts Child Development Center is located at 6757 Olive Blvd making Heman Park the ideal location for this fundraising event.

This event is perfect for the entire family. You can bring strollers, run competitively or walk.
