Every day, the men and women of Oxford's Fire Department, Sheriffs Department, EMS, and Emergency Communications answer the call—often placing themselves in harm's way to protect our families, friends, and neighbors. They are there during our community's most challenging moments, providing courage, compassion, and professional service when it matters most.

The NICHOLAS AIR 5K was created to give back to these hometown heroes. Thanks to the generosity of participants, sponsors, and donors, 100% of the proceeds from this event directly benefit Oxford's First Responders, helping provide resources, recognition, wellness initiatives, equipment, training opportunities, and programs that enhance their ability to serve our community.
