Our annual Biathlon/Fun Run is a fundraiser for the Heart of Montana Farm in the Dell. We are a 501C3 non-profit organization affiliated with the Farm in the Dell International Foundation. This organization has worked for 40 years building self-supporting farm homes for developmentally disabled adults. Locally, our long-term plan is to acquire funding and grants to procure a greenhouse, hoop house, shop and residence for our Farmers. The home would house 6 developmentally disabled adults and their live-in caretaker, with the ability for more Farmers to live off-site and still participate in day-to-day vocational activities. We plan to grow herbs and vegetables for our local farmers market and restaurants. We are actively growing a pumpkin patch and will host a fall festival weekend for families to come and pick a pumpkin from the patch as well as participate in a variety of recreational activities.
