Chama is an incredible place to live and visit. Chama consists of 1000 residents and during summer months welcomes up to 5000 visitors. This year, the Chama Valley Rotary Club is working to build a gazebo which will support the community and visitors coming to Chama. Why does Chama need a gazebo? Gazebos offer shade, shelter from rain and winds and provide a space for people to gather. The gazebo is planned to be centrally located allowing tourists to stop and stretch their legs after a long road-trip, as well as a community base for events and celebrations. Chama is a thriving mountain town; a community gazebo will provide a common area to continue nurturing connections among residents and visitors. We appreciate your support!
