Bernest Brown
Bernest was a kindhearted, compassionate, young man who was taken at the tender age of 29 due to complications resulting from Sickle Cell Anemia. His dying wish was to raise awareness of this tragic illness by hosting a race at his favorite park, Heckscher State Park. This race is presented in Bernest’s memory with the intention of making his final request come true.
