2025 Syracuse Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) (Draft)

The Syracuse Half Marathon takes great pride in helping LOCAL charities, Each Charity below has a local tie and is near to our heart.

1. Powerful Paws Animal Rescue is a local (Syracuse) 501(c)3 non-profit organization comprised entirely of volunteers. PPAR is dedicated to improving the lives and well-being of abused, neglected, abandoned, and surrendered animals.

2. Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital provides safe, effective, innovative and family centered care for children in the Central New York region. 

3. CNY Food Bank -  Food Bank of Central New York serves as the main food distribution hub for hundreds of partner agencies that comprise the emergency food network in our eleven county service region across central and northern New York. 

4. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York provides a temporary home, free of charge, for families with seriously ill children receiving treatment in Syracuse. 

Established in 1985, the organization is considered one of the most efficient food banks in the country, using every $1.00 donated to help provide three meals to hungry families, children, and elderly.
