Your financial contribution to this event either as a runner / walker or donor, will directly impact the investigation's ability to bring justice to Amy's killer and renews hope for the Milhaljevic family that Amy is Never Forgotten by the community at large.

   The Amy Fund was established as a budget line-item to help fray the costs for the ongoing investigation.  Although the city has a budget for the police department, the amount of money it costs to run DNA testing can run in the thousands of dollars each year.  One DNA test can cost upwards of $20,000 and sub-tests can cost additional thousands of dollars.  In addition, the police department pays the costs for retired FBI agent Phil Torsney to return several times a year to work on the case.  As DNA testing continues to advance, each test brings hope that this case is getting closer to being solved.
