Patriots 5k on the 4th of July

All proceeds will directly benefit the OLHS XC program as well as the Soles4Souls organization. The money benefitting the XC program will go directly towards meet registration fees, bussing fees, and other fees that will need to be covered throughout the season. A portion of the earnings will go to Soles4Souls which provides impoverished children with footwear. We will also be collecting gently used sneakers for soles4souls!

There are many people in this country who are not able to get new shoes often. Soles4souls is an organization that takes lightly worn shoes and gives them to people in need. Runners go through a lot of pairs of shoes, so we believe that this is a great way to give back to those in need.
