This is a memorial run in honor of my son, Gage Wright. Gage lost his battle with opioid addiction on February 2, 2017 at the age of 21. At the time immediately proceeding his death, I couldn't find any treatment options for him. Due to that, part of my goal with this event is to get information into the hands of as many people as possible. I bring in a number of different organizations that can help those in need of substance abuse education and/or rehabilitation. I combine that with a fun 5k color run, a DJ playing great music and a raffle of goods or services donated by local businesses. We also have Narcan training and free Narcan for anyone who wants it.
