Description
Join us for the First Annual Keep It Local 5K! The goal of this event is to raise money for charities LOCAL to the Pee Dee, and to also promote local businesses in the Pee Dee Area! This year, we welcome the Myrtle Beach chapter of Ainsley's Angels, a group that uses adaptive chairs to assist others to 'Run With the Wind' (http://www.ainsleysangels.org/Ambassadors/South-Carolina/Myrtle-Beach). All proceeds will help this chapter to purchase racing wheelchairs and provide opportunities for those with disabilities to attend local races.
T-shirt and swag will be guaranteed for the first 150 registrants. Medals will be presented to the overall first, second and third place male and female winners, Masters Male and Female, as well as the top three in each age group.
Prizes will also be presented to the overall winners.
This 5K is a USATF certified course (Course # SC10035BS), starting at West Florence High School at 8am.
There will be water stations at Mile 1 and 2, as well as refreshments at the finish line!

Packet pickup will be from 7:00 to 7:45am on May 14th, 2016 in front of West Florence High School.
Race Day registration will be available ($30 cash only) the day of the event. T-shirts for race day registration cannot be guaranteed.
