Their mission is to empower communities to create practical, supportive environments for children in foster care and to walk alongside families in crisis with care and dignity.

Foster605 provides programs that strengthen foster, kinship, and biological families through practical support, meaningful relationships, and community collaboration. Our flagship program, Candles & Cake, creates personalized birthday celebrations for children in foster care, featuring a custom birthday cake from a local baker through our partnership with the South Dakota Bakers Association, along with gifts, decorations, and other special touches to remind every child they are seen, valued, and loved.
