I'm raising money towards an endowment scholarship I started while enrolled at MUW as a single parent student. The Health Is My Passion Single Parent Scholarship is for nursing and health related major students enrolled at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS. This scholarship was created for single parents that are balancing raising their child(ren), working, and attending school all at the same time. I know what it is like and that's why I'm passionate about assisting others who are going through the same. Hopefully with enough money raised it can be extended into other community efforts to support single parents.
