Greetings!
We are very sad to report this race has been cancelled. Due to some ongoing logistical hiccups, we cannot execute the event as we had hoped. The American Cancer Society believes in providing the absolute best customer experience for their volunteers and event participants. Since we cannot do that at this time, cancellation is the best alternative. We will return all registration fees, unless you indicate differently below. Our many apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Join the University of Tennessee VOLS Against Cancer as they host the American Cancer Society Hopping On Rocky Top Virtual 5K & Bunny Fun Run. Scheduled to take place Saturday, April 9 - Sunday, April 10, VOLS Against Cancer invites running and walking enthusiasts of all ages to take time out of their weekend and run or walk in honor of a loved one affected by cancer. Whether you decide to participate alone or with a group, on a trail, greenway, road or treadmill, it is the perfect opportunity to show your support for the American Cancer Society on your own schedule and in your own way. To celebrate your participation and conclude the race challenge, we encourage participants to celebrate in a metal ceremony and kid's Easter Egg on Sunday, April 10 at 3:30 PM at the University of Tennessee Student Plaza. In addition to the closing events, various campus clubs will host a variety of fair-like food and activity booths. All net-proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society and the organization's mission to SAVE LIVES, CELEBRATE LIVES AND LEAD THE FIGHT FOR A WORLD WITHOUT CANCER.
DATE, TIME & PLACE OF VIRTUAL RUNS: Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 8:00 AM - Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 3:00 PM, participants can run/walk wherever they wish i.e. road, greenway, trail, treadmill etc.
DATE, TIME & PLACE OF RACE WRAP-UP CELEBRATION: Saturday, April 10 at 2:00 PM at the University of TN Student Union Plaza (1502 Cumberland Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37916 with Metal Ceremony at 3:30 PM
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS: Timed by Knoxville Track Club on the beautiful University of TN Campus

BIB NUMBERS: Starting March 24, racers will automatically receive their bib numbers upon registering. Any one registered prior to this date, will receive their bib number via e-mail of the race manager.
SHIRTS: First quality, 100% cotton shirts. Runners can pick-up their shirts at the Wrap-Up Celebration on Sunday, April 10 or choose to have it mailed, the following week. There will be two (2) packet pick-up times.
AWARDS: All Bunny Fun Run & 5K participants will all receive a metal at the Wrap-Up Celebration for their participation in the run. In addition, metals will be given in the 5K to the top three overall male and female. Awards one deep for age divisions: MALE/FEMALE
