Appomattox County adopted a motto in 2015, "The Power of One". This motto was created by Appomattox County High School Football Coach Doug Smith. He has inspired young men and this community to stay strong together, help others, and love one another. He recently was diagnosed with cancer and is fighting this disease with everything he has. We want to support Coach Smith and his family through these trying times. His faith in the Lord and love for his fellow man is an inspiration to this community. We are looking to raise at least $1000 to be able to donate to SmithStrong!!
