Michael B. Perry 5K

Phi Sigma Pi welcomes the Virginia Tech and Blacksburg community to join in remembering the life of Michael Benjamin Perry, a Blacksburg Native and fellow Hokie who was taken from us during the Summer of 1998. The 19th Annual Michael B. Perry 5K is held in honor of our fallen Brother who was victim to a drunk driving accident. All proceeds from this year’s race will benefit Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Race will begin at 9:00 am at the Cadet Obstacle Course on Smithfield Road.

There will be one water station at the halfway point on the course. 

Registration and Check-In

Check-in location will be across from the Smithfield Road Lot in the field in front of the Cadet Obstacle Course. Get your race packet with your bib number. Check-in time will be from 8 - 8:45 am on October 7th.

Team Registration

If you are part of a club or organization at Virginia Tech, sign up as a team. The team with the most members registered will receive a prize pack.

Race Day Registration

There will be a station set up for same day registration on October 7th with a registration price increase to $20. Race day registration will be from 8 - 8:45 am. 

T-Shirts

If you would like a T-Shirt, you must sign-up by September 27th and purchase your shirt with your registration. Hats sponsored by BOCO Gear are available on the registration page for $15. 

Post-Race Activities

Awards and Raffle prizes will be awarded after all runners have crossed the finish line (appx 10 AM).

Inclement Weather

The race will take place rain or shine so dress appropriately!

Parking
