You can make a direct contribution to the organization of your choice by clicking the "Charity" button under "Where would you like to donate?" and selecting your preferred destination, with the added bonus of receiving $15 off your registration if you donate $50.

Additionally, we encourage you to become a fundraiser by clicking "Fundraiser" under the same question and then hitting "Become A Fundraiser." By becoming a fundraiser, you commit to asking your family, friends, coworkers, and community members to chip in for the cause; if you manage to raise $200 on behalf of the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation, you will receive a full refund for your registration cost, excluding any purchased merchandise items.
