Description
Verona Chamber of Commerce’s Inaugural Hometown Hustle 5K Twilight Run will take place on Friday, May 31, 2019 starting at 7 pm on the Military State Trail behind the Verona Ice Arena just North of the Hometown Days Fairgrounds in Verona, WI. The race is an easy trail run winding along Verona’s scenic and well-loved Military Ridge State and Ice Age Trails. Click here for a map of the route. At the conclusion of the race, please walk down to the Hometown Days Beer Tent to enjoy a free beer courtesy of Wisconsin Distributors.
Hometown Hustle Race packet pick up begins at 6 PM the day of the race on Friday, May 31st near starting line. You can also pick up your packet the day before the race on Thursday, May 30th from 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm at the Chamber, 120 W. Verona Avenue.
A portion of the race proceeds will be donated to the Verona Area High School Cross Country Team Booster Clubs. In year’s past, this race has typically taken place on a Sunday during Hometown Days and has now been moved to Friday night with the new “Hometown Hustle” name.
