We are excited to partner with Active Youth Wisconsin our WI Tri Series official charity partner and The Badger Prairie Needs Network.
Active Youth Wisconsin is a Dane County nonprofit committed to providing accessible opportunities for kids to be active in a generation when they move less than ever.
Their initiatives foster inclusivity, promote self-confidence, work ethic and positive peer interactions so that all children, regardless of background, can benefit from the physical and mental health advantages that regular activity provides. Through events, afterschool programs, grants and more, they're helping kids becomes the best versions of themselves.
Badger Prairie Needs Network
Nearly 8% of Dane County residents struggle with food insecurity. Rising costs and unexpected expenses make it even harder for families to make ends meet. In 2024, Badger Prairie Needs Network (BPNN) provided food assistance to 87,000 individuals, helping fill a critical gap in our community. Those most affected include children, seniors, people with disabilities, and communities of color. In over 70% of the households we serve, at least one adult is working—many with two jobs. Odds are, you know someone who could use a helping hand.
Since 1986, BPNN has been serving the community. We operate one of Dane County’s three busiest food pantries, entirely led and run by dedicated volunteers.
