Tonya’s mom, Jean Stanley battled Crohn’s all through Tonya’s life. Jean passed away from this disease when Tonya was 18 years old. Tonya’s sister also lives with Crohn’s which is more treatable today due to the research. In 2013, Tonya wanted to start an event to help support the research and in remembrance of her mother. On July 26th, we will have our 7th Annual Kickin’ Butt for Crohn’s Jean Stanley Memorial event which we are proud of. All proceeds go to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation, www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org.
