Miles 4 Matthew Virtual 5K Fun Run/Walk

Miles 4 Matthew Virtual 5K Fun Run/Walk is an idea created by a mother of a 4 years old diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) in July 17th 2018, who wants to dedicate her passion for running to honor her son's fight against cancer.  

Miles 4 Matthew Virtual 5K Fun Run/Walk will also raise awareness to help the Gallardo Family to cover treatment expenses and ensure quality of life to Matthew during the next 3 years of treatment.

1% of Miles 4 Matthew Virtual 5K Fun Run/Walk proceeds will be donated to Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS) .

Matthew was a normal healthy child until June 13th, 2018 when he woke up with a headache. Matthew's parents thought it was a common cold but, later they discovered it was the early signs of Leukemia appearing.

Today Matthew has undergoing treatment and is successfully been in remission since August 14th, 2018!  Matthew will need to continue to seek  treatment until late 2021.  Matthew considers himself and calls himself "a warrior!"  Matthew, loves seeing people wearing his  #Miles4Matthew tee-shirt.
