Apply to be an Ambassador!
The Rescue Mission of Roanoke is looking for ambassadors to help us spread the word across the region about the Drumstick Dash. Ambassadors can be race oriented or volunteer oriented! We’re looking for people of all walks of life who want to do their part to help the Rescue Mission fulfill our goal of getting as many people as we can to move their feet so others can eat!
AMBASSADOR REQUIREMENTS:
- Dash Ambassadors must have a love of participating in the Drumstick Dash, have a blog, significant social media following or other way of reaching out to the masses, and goals that align with our mission.
- Post content to your audience a minimum of three times leading up to the race (at least once a month in September, October, and November).
- Publish a post race report within one month of finishing the race on your blog, social media, or other way of reaching your audience.
AMBASSADOR PERKS:
- Free race entry to the race of your choice for yourself (run, walk, virtual run, or virtual challenge)
- Exclusive discount codes for your followers.
- Support from our event manager & race director.
- Swag item for one lucky person who uses your code (Dash staff will handle the raffle and distribution).
- High performing ambassadors will get some extra swag as our thank you.
Deadline for entries is August 18, 2025, and selected ambassadors will be announced shortly thereafter. If selected, your responsibilities will include things like regular posting to social media and engaging with the brand across all platforms, blogs and vlogs where applicable.
