The Gold Grinder - Bike Race is a one way, uphill gravel race to the end of Palmer Creek Road. Participants will make their way back to Hope School at a more leisurely pace.

The Silver Grinder - 1/2 Marathon is a round trip run to the Nearhouse Mine Trail on Palmer Creek Road and back to Hope School. Uphill with switchbacks for the first half, downhill for the second half.
