2014 Talladega 21000 Half Marathon

The Talladega 21000 Half Marathon presented by the Urology Centers of Alabama and benefitting the Urology Health Foundation will be held Sunday, September 14, 2014. The race will begin at 7:30 am CST and will have a 3 1/2 hour time limit. The registration fee for this event is $70 by August 1st, $75 by September 9th, and $90 race weekend. There is no race day registration. Registrants will receive a short sleeved, gender specific technical shirt in their race bag. Half marathon finishers will receive a medal. You must be 12 years old on race day to participate in the half marathon. We have capped the race at 1200 participants.

If you are not quite ready for a half marathon join us for the 5K Lap Around the Track (3.1 miles). The 5K will begin at 7:45 am CST and will have a 50 minute time limit. The registration fee for this event is $30 by August 1st, $35 by September 9th, and $40 race weekend and race day. Registrants will receive a short sleeved technical shirt (men's sizes) in their race bag. There is no medal for 5k finishers and there is also no age limit. We have capped this event at 800 registrants.

The 1K (a little less than a mile) Fun Run/Walk Honoring Prostate Cancer Survivors will begin at 9:30 a.m. CST. The cost for adults is $15 and the cost for children 10 and under is $10. Registrants will receive a cotton t-shirt. There is no cap on this event.
