Half Marathon entry and travel package includes: Round-trip transportation from Belize City airport to hotel (12/4 & 12/8), 4 nights lodging (a/c & wifi) (12/4, 5, 6, 7), 3 breakfasts (12/5, 7 & 8), pre-race pasta dinner (12/5), half marathon entry fee & t-shirt, welcome reception, post-race reception, walking distance to race start/finish from hotel, ½ day tour & lunch (Mon 12/7). The course is point-to-point. The 13.1 mile half marathon course begins at the marathon turnaround location and finishes in Placencia Village. Busing is available to the starting location if not staying at a hotel in Placencia Village. Minimum age to participate is 16 years old. Does not include lodging or pasta dinner. Course is out and back. The 26.2 mile marathon course begins at the football (soccer) field in Placencia Village, goes through Placencia Village, Seine Bight Village, and Maya Beach, with multiple views of the Caribbean Sea along the way. The course then loops back a few miles south of Riversdale. There will be water stations at about every mile. The course is completely flat. Minimum age to participate is 18 years old. There is no registration fee for the Youth Fun Run. However, every participant must complete a registration form and sign the waiver. No t-shirt unless there are extras available on race morning.
