October 2 - Epic Ride South Bay (57 Miles) Culver City to Palos Verde

Start: Veteran Memorial Park , 4117 Overland Ave, Culver City
Time: 6:45AM Announcements; 7:00 AM Departure
Difficulty (1-5) = 1-3

Join us for a very cool Fall Club Sunday cruise along the south Santa Monica bay on the iconic Marvin Braude coastal bike path and up into the spectacular Palos Verde Peninsula. Much of the ride is on dedicated bike paths. At the south end of the bike trail ,enjoy refreshments at our SAG stop, you can decide to head back to the start or continue the cycling adventure up to Palos Verde. After a short climb Palos Verde riders will be rewarded with more incredible panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. CalTri1 (Team Vehicle) will provide water, electrolytes, gels, bananas and snacks.
Start & End at Veteran Memorial Park , 4117 Overland Ave, Culver City (Behind Culver City Plunge)
Arrive at the park early enough that you are ready to listen to the important announcements 6:15 AM
Parking is free and plentiful (Overland & Culver blvd)
Restrooms in the north west corner of the park (Overland & Culver blvd)
Announcements: 6:45 AM
Depart: Clip In 7:00 AM
Ballona Creek Bike Path & Marvin Braude Bike Path
Once at Torrance County Beach , enjoy refreshments at our SAG stop and decide whether to return back or continue onto for a scenic loop Palos Verde
CalTri1 (Team Vehicle) will provide water, electrolytes, gels, bananas & snacks
Option 1: Turn around at Torrance County Beach ( South end of coastal Bike path) almost no elevation change. 35 miles
Option 2: Loop through Palos Verde, (2600ft climbing) Incredible Panoramas: 57 Miles
Post ride brunch: Cafe Laurent 4243 Overland, Culver City
