Kenroko 5K Test Race
Why do you run? We like to run to make a difference in other people's lives.
Kenroko founders lost their father from cancer in 2015, and they understand how valuable memories with the loved ones are. That is why they teamed up with the cancer hospital in Japan, and decided to fundraise money to support hospice care for families in Japan. Sadly, Japan does not have the donation culture, and that's why Kenroko founders have stepped up to help.
The total fundraised money, net of operating costs, will be provided to the hospital next Oct 2018 together with our other fundraised money from our organized races. The donations raised from now to Oct 2018 will be used to renovate the hospital's 5F garden (planting seasonal flowers and installing weatherproof tables and chairs) so patients and their families/friends can spend quality time in a relaxing environment. Our goal is to let them feel like they've escaped from the hospital for a fun getaway, and create as many happy memories.
