Bizz Johnson

The 50K begins at the Bizz Johnson Trail - Mason Station Trailhead. With a 3.24-mile out and 3.24-mile back on McCoy Road, the 50K jumps onto the Bizz Johnson Trail and begins the trek to the finish at the Hobo Camp Day Use Area. Runners will be bused to the start. The up-and-back Half Marathon begins across the street from the Historic Train Depot. Runners travel up the Bizz Johnson Trail to the Devil's Corral turnaround, where they'll travel back down the Bizz Johnson and finish at the Hobo Camp Day Use Area. Runners will not need to be bused to the start as it begins in town. A shuttle will be available to bring runners back to their cars or runners can opt to walk down the Bizz .75 mile to retrieve their car. Registration Details

This is a 2-person relay. Leg 1 and Leg 2 runners will ride the bus to the start at Goumaz Campground. Leg 1 runners will start with the Express Half Marathon Runners. Leg 2 runners will continue on the bus to Devil's Corral at mile 7. After the handoff, Leg 1 runners will be able to ride the bus back to the Susanville Historic Train Depot where they can catch the bus to the Finish Line. Relay teams are also welcome to send Leg 1 runner on the bus to the start and Leg 2 runner drive a personal vehicle to the handoff zone at Devil's Corral (Mile 7). This would allow the Leg 1 runner a quicker return to town, instead of waiting for the bus to depart.
